What we do

From shared ambition to durable change

PRG supports the choices, relationships, and operating practices that help community-serving work move from intention to sustained action.

Start with the decision

What does your team need to move forward?

A clear engagement begins with a consequential question. Choose the one closest to your current situation.

Which choices remain blurred beneath a broad shared ambition?

PRG helps the team distinguish purpose, priorities, boundaries, assumptions, and the evidence needed for a responsible choice.

A practical strategic direction with decisions, owners, and an adaptable path.

Engagement path

Rigorous enough to guide action, flexible enough to learn

We agree on decision points and participation before choosing activities or outputs.

  1. Frame

Name the decision, constraints, stakeholders, and available evidence.

  2. Discover

Listen across experience and examine the system around the issue.

  3. Design

Build choices together and make assumptions visible.

  4. Test

Try focused actions and review early signals with people affected.

  5. Embed

Transfer ownership, routines, and tools into everyday work.

Useful outputs

A work product should help someone make or carry a decision

A polished deck is not the goal. Each output is shaped around who will use it, when, and for what choice.

  • A one-page decision frame that keeps scope visible
  • A community insight map that preserves difference and common ground
  • A service blueprint showing experience, operations, and handoffs
  • A learning dashboard tied to recurring review conversations
  • A transition plan with owners, milestones, risks, and open questions

Ways to work together

Match the format to the decision and capacity available

Focused sprint

A bounded period for one urgent question, rapid listening, and a concrete decision output.

Best forA defined decision with an available sponsor

Embedded partnership

A longer collaboration combining analysis, facilitation, testing, and capability building.

Best forConnected strategic and operating change

Cross-sector working series

A facilitated sequence for multiple partners to develop shared choices and governance.

Best forIssues no single organization controls
A workshop wall combining charts, interview themes, and open questions

Evidence in practice

Numbers and narratives answer different parts of the question

We combine operational data, participant experience, frontline observation, and contextual research. The aim is a decision transparent about what is known and what must still be learned.

Common questions

Before an engagement begins

Do we need a finished scope before contacting PRG?

No. A useful first conversation can begin with the decision, tension, or change your team is trying to understand.

Can community members participate directly?

Yes, when participation has clear purpose and influence. We discuss access, recognition, consent, privacy, and feedback first.

Can an engagement include implementation?

It can include prototyping, implementation support, and learning routines. The role is agreed during scoping.

How is a proposal developed?

After a fit conversation, PRG documents the decision, people involved, timing, outputs, responsibilities, and commercial terms.

Start with the real question

What decision would become possible with better shared understanding?

Describe the situation, the people affected, and what has made progress difficult so far.
